Because, by your holy cross, you have redeemed the world.
Crucified Jesus, behold me at Thy feet. I ask Thy pardon for having wandered so often into the bypaths of sin. In making this Way of the Cross give me courage to follow faithfully in Thy blood-stained footsteps.
